Mini-USB cable description (numbers are assigned from left to right on the picture) Support on devices with proper Mini-AB receptacle (such as Olimex A10-OLinuXino-Lime) Support on devices with Mini-B receptacle (such as Cubietech Cubietruck)
1. Mini-B plug on one end (ID pin shorted to the ground), USB Type-A receptacle on the other end.

2. Mini-A plug on one end (ID pin is shorted to the ground), USB Type-A receptacle on the other end.

3. Mini-B plug on one end, Micro-B receptacle on the other end (the ID pins are not properly connected between mini and micro connectors). Attached to the OTG cable from MSI Primo81, which has Mini-B plug on one end (ID pin is shorted to the ground) and USB Type-A receptacle on the other end.

Is not recognized as USB host. Can work as USB host with a software hack.
