This device was sold on Wish in late 2018 in different colors as either 8 GB or 16 GB version.<br />
<br />
While this particular device was sold as an 8 GB version, only 4 GB actually exist. The Android has been modified to show 8 GB regardless. Free space is 2.5 GB (of which 0.5 GB in /system).<br />
<br />
While /proc/meminfo shows 1 GB total DRAM, "dd" is unable to copy memory blocks larger than ~400 MB. This seems to indicate that only 512 MB of RAM actually exist. The four visible RAM chips are 1 Gbit each, totalling 512 MB, but there might be additional chips on the backside.<br />
